NEW YORK (WLNE) — Embattled former CEO of the cryptocurrency firm FTX Sam Bankman-Fried has been arrested within the Bahamas.
The arrest was introduced by the Workplace of the U.S. Legal professional of the Southern District of New York Monday night time.
The workplace stated Bankman-Fried was arrested on the request of the U.S. authorities, based mostly on a seal indictment that the workplace expects to unseal Tuesday morning.
Bankman-Fried has been below strain after FTX went below a number of weeks in the past.
