CHICAGO (CBS) — The Salvation Military is thanking beneficiant donors who dropped gold cash in two purple kettles within the northwest suburbs.
Somebody dropped a one-ounce South African coin price $1,900 right into a kettle outdoors the Jewel at Village Crossing in Niles.
Two extra cash have been donated to a bell ringer on the Walmart on Route 83 in Spherical Lake. These have been every price $250.
Donors have dropped 5 gold cash and one silver coin in Salvation Military purple kettles to date this vacation season.
