  • 2022 CPI forecast at +2.9% (beforehand +3.0%)
  • 2023 CPI forecast at +2.2% (beforehand +2.3%)
  • 2024 CPI forecast at +1.5%

In commenting on the forecasts, SECO says that:

“This may level to sluggish progress for the Swiss economic system, however not a extreme recession. Nonetheless, the power scenario in Europe is more likely to stay tense with gasoline and electrical energy costs operating excessive. Moreover, excessive worldwide inflation and the tightening of financial coverage are more likely to curb demand.”
